Big Bag Fillers
Our big bag filling units are usable in various industries and application sectors. They provide a very efficient and quick method to fill bulk bags. There are two main types available, suspended “hanging” or bottom supported “platform” style. Material feeds into jumbo bags through gravity flow gate (eg. slide-gate or butter fly valve), rotary valve or an auger feeder. Convenient options include integrated weighing together with filling. Weighing is either gross weigh (fill and weigh) or net weigh (pre-weigh and fill). Metering is also available via level sensing if weighing is not used. Bulk bag fillers can operate as standalone manual units or integrated automated systems
Valve Bag Fillers
Valve bag filling machines deliver accurate packaging of granular and powdered material. Valve bag fillers apply across many applications, minerals to food, manual to automated. Valve bags are the most used bag style world wide. As such, valve bag fillers need to cope with high filling speeds and yet be user friendly. Besides this, smooth product flow is important in minimizing spillage and dust. Valve bag fillers operate using one of four ways - pressurized air, auger, impeller, and gravity. At Enge Plas, we supply a wide range of valve bag fillers. Many bagging machines configured in arow can meet high filling requirements. Advanced options include automatic bag placers and automated robotic bag palletizing systems. Such systems can bag and stack up to 600 bags per hour per line. Further automation includes bag flattening conveyors, check weighers, bag printing and metal detection. Others include non-conforming bag reject conveyors, stretch wrappers, stretch hooders for load protection. Such systems allow one operator to manage several lines of thousands of bags per hour.
Open Mouth Bag Fillers
Open mouth bag fillers provide a simple, fast and easy way to fill material. These include both food grade and non-food grade materials, manual and automated applications. Open mouth filling systems are ideal for hard to handle materials. Materials that are dry, free flowing and dusty - from landscaping, feed, seed, fertilizer to food. There are two classes of open mouth bag fillers - gross weigh (fill and weigh) and net weigh (pre-weigh then fill).Feed systems include gravity, vibratory pan fed, belt fed, and auger fed. Enge Plas supplies a wide variety capable of meeting your filling needs. Advanced options include automatic bag placers and automated robotic bag palletizing systems. Further automation includes bag flattening conveyors, and robotic bag turners and pallet wrappers. Such systems allow one operator to manage several lines of thousands of bags per hour.
